Work With Us!

The Unsung Arts Collective is growing—and we are seeking high-quality, Christ-exalting arts practitioners to join us as we do. We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

  • Creating and teaching weekly classroom lectures and discussions on arts and missions

  • Leading “arts with God” devotional arts sessions

  • Meeting students for one-on-one arts mentorship, processing, and encouragement

  • Facilitating 3 to 5 arts engagement activities with local communities

Artist Mentor

Begin: January, 2026 | Location: Tbilisi, Georgia | Stipend: None | Hours: 5-7 hrs/wk | Duration: 5 mos.

Description

Arts mentorship is the connective tissue in our arts discipleship. The Artists Mentor meets weekly with a few students for the sole purpose of listening, drawing out, encouraging and strengthening our artists in residence. Artist Mentors are vital creators themselves with years of experience in one or several areas of creative expression. Most importantly, their art and faith integrate seamlessly—not necessarily producing faith-forward works of art, but making them people of faith moving freely in their artistic call and gifting.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting students weekly for one-on-one arts mentorship

  • Attending student exhibitions mid-session (usually in April)

Qualifications

  • A practicing artist/creative in any field with at least 5 years experience in their art

  • Mature in biblical Christian faith

  • Missions-minded and experienced cross-culturally

  • Compassionate, encouraging, and relational

  • Fluent in English, and ideally other languages
