Among all peoples, the arts express and communicate some of the deepest experiences of life. We believe that creative expression is key to unlocking gospel movements among the world’s remaining unreached. For this reason we have created the Unsung Arts Collective.
Residencies
5-Month Cohort
Join our community of arts discipleship for an extended season of renewal and formation. We have a vision to affirm and disciple artists for frontier service as artists. This means growing artists in their unique gifting and calling, while also equipping them with skills and confidence to reach unreached peoples. Our 5-month discipleship residency is custom designed just for this.
Open to individuals and families of any age or stage
15-20 hrs./wk. spent in studio time
Intended for practicing artists (some portfolio required for application)
“Life-on-life” discipleship in close community with other artists
Individual mentoring
Students receive all short courses offered, plus other coursework
Ethno-arts training and field practice
Seasonal Residencies
We periodically offer shorter residencies that provide all the same access to our facilities and community but with a lower discipleship load. These may focus on particular themes given the season and attendees.
Trainings
Short Courses
Anyone can meaningfully engage the arts with the right tools—not just “artists.” We offer short-course trainings in the central location of Tbilisi, Georgia several times a year. Stay tuned for the possibility of a “dispersed cohort” track for those who cannot physically come to Georgia for training!
